Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026

This policy explains what GlobalDirectoryPages collects when you verify a business with us, what we publish, and what stays private.

What we collect

Account details (name, email), business details you submit for verification (entity name, addresses, contact details, industry), credential details you enter (license numbers, insurance policy details, registration details), verification and monitoring results, and billing records held by our payment processor.

How we use it

To run verification checks, calculate trust and risk scores, monitor your verification status on an ongoing basis, publish your verified listing and badge, provide support, and process payments. We do not sell personal data.

What becomes public

For verified businesses we publish business-level information only: name, general location, industry, badge tier, trust score, compliance status, and the public verification report. Submitted credential details, owner contact details, internal risk signals, and account information are never published.

Automated processing

Verification decisions use automated document analysis and cross-checks. Exceptions are reviewed by a human before a badge is issued or revoked, and you can ask for a review of any decision that affects your listing.

Storage and security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls. Submitted credential details are held privately, readable only by your account and our review process, and sensitive identifiers are masked to their last four characters. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor; we never see or store them.

Retention

Verification records are retained while your account is active and for a period afterwards so historical badge claims remain auditable. You can request deletion of your account and documents at any time.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to processing. Contact us and we will respond within one month.

Cookies

We use the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and to run the site. We also use advertising measurement cookies where permitted, described below.

Advertising measurement

When you arrive from one of our ads, we measure which ads lead to a free trust score request, a started checkout, or a purchase. This is done with Google Ads conversion tracking, and the data (the page visited, the action taken, and for purchases the amount) is shared with Google as a recipient. We do not share your name, email, or submitted credential details with any advertising platform. Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland are asked to accept before any advertising tag loads; declining blocks it entirely. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, and withdrawal takes effect immediately.
