The Systems Administrator will be responsible for designing and executing IT activities and thereby ensuring the smooth operation of IT related functions. He/she will work in concert business leaders in other departments to identify, develop, support and maintain cost-effective IT solutions for all aspects of the company. operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support company network servers, webservers, individual computers/work stations and communication systems
  • Manage and execute multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Design and install LAN/WAN, Internet, and intranet systems
  • Administer Microsoft SQL databases – identify user needs and setup databases, design new methods to store/utilize data
  • Design methods to store, analyze, utilize, and organize data
  • Administer & support key company ERP systems
  • Provide cost/benefit analysis for new hardware and software proposed
  • Work with various vendors to acquire new hardware and software
  • Lead, manage and assume accountability for End User Service staff – Assist in training end users
  • Insure Company’s Software Code of Ethics and internet use policies are adhered to -document and report all violations
  • Plan and coordinate security measures for company IT systems.

Skills and Experiences

Background Requirements:

  • College Degree - IT
  • Previous Management / Supervisory experience over an IT Team in Ssmall to midsize business
  • Experience with virtualization, software, hardware, servers and Apple OS
  • MCP, MCSA
  • MCSE Preferred
